水进入柴油发电机组空气中的水气在温度的改变下会发生冷凝现象，结成水珠挂附在油箱内壁，当水珠流入柴油后，就会使柴油含水量超标，当这样的柴油进入发动机高压油泵后，就会锈蚀精密偶合件，假设严重的话就会损坏机组,柴油发电机组工作过程中，油污或杂质会沉积在滤网壁上，而过个会使滤器过滤功能下降，沉积过多，油路将无法疏通，当设备工作时将会因油无法供应而不能正常使用。
